Project Engineer - Fitout

AST Plus Technical Services is a growing company specializing in villa renovations, interior fit-outs, and complete interior transformations. We are committed to delivering high-quality projects through effective planning, skilled craftsmanship, technical expertise, and attention to detail.

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Fit-Out to join our team and independently manage and coordinate fit-out projects from planning through successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

• Plan, organize, and execute fit-out and renovation projects in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Prepare work schedules and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
• Identify potential project delays and challenges and take proactive corrective action.

2. Site Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved plans and technical requirements.
• Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and technicians.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and progress.

3. Material & Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of required materials, equipment, and resources.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate orders according to project schedules.
• Verify delivered materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.

4. Technical Coordination

• Review architectural, interior, and technical drawings and identify discrepancies before and during execution.
• Coordinate with designers, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and practical solutions to site-related challenges.

5. Health, Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure that all site activities comply with company procedures, applicable regulations, and HSE requirements.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the project.
• Ensure necessary inspections and corrective actions are carried out promptly.

6. Project Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily site reports, progress updates, material records, and inspection records.
• Prepare and submit timely reports on project progress, delays, site issues, and resource requirements.
• Keep management informed of project status and critical matters requiring attention.

7. Project Monitoring & Handover

• Monitor project progress against approved timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate snagging, rectification, testing, and final handover activities.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within agreed quality standards, and in accordance with client requirements.

Requirements :

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or another relevant field.

Experience:

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in the interior fit-out, renovation, construction, or related industry.
• Proven experience in independently managing and supervising fit-out projects.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of fit-out works, construction methods, materials, technical drawings, and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, material coordination, and site management.
• Good understanding of quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Dubai Municipality-approved / licensed candidates are preferred.

Language:

• Fluency in English and Hindi is required.

• Valid UAE driving license is required.

• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Good communication, organization, and reporting skills.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
