System Architect

Role : System Architect - Radar Systems

Role Purpose : Own the complete technical architecture and ensure that all subsystems operate as one coherent product.

Required Competencies:

▪ Must have experience with Doppler Radar / Lidar, Digital Signal Processing, Fast Fourier Transformation

▪ Ability to define architectures for fixed, portable, vehicle-mounted, and mobile systems.

▪ Ability to translate operational requirements into system and subsystem requirements.

▪ Ability to define software interfaces and sdk’s between various hardware devices.

▪ Ability to produce system block diagrams, interface-control documents, timing diagrams, data-flow diagrams, state diagrams, and deployment architectures.

▪ Ability to define coordinate systems and data relationships between sensing devices.

▪ Strong understanding of coordinate transformations, geometry, linear algebra, and three-dimensional spatial relationships

▪ Ability to establish system timing, latency, synchronization, bandwidth, storage, and power budgets. ▪ Ability to allocate functions between hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical subsystems.

▪ Ability to define normal, degraded, fault, recovery, maintenance, and calibration operating modes. ▪ Strong understanding of system availability, redundancy, maintainability, scalability, and fault tolerance.

▪ Ability to lead design reviews and technical decision-making across engineering disciplines.

▪ Ability to maintain requirements traceability from operational need through design, implementation, and validation.

▪ Ability to manage technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and engineering changes.

Education:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent required
