About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on

Head Chef

to lead our kitchen operations. In this role, you will take full ownership of culinary execution, team leadership, food quality, and kitchen profitability while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Leadership:

Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen brigade to ensure consistent food preparation, presentation, and service speed.

Menu Execution & Development:

Oversee daily recipe consistency, manage prep lists, and contribute to seasonal menu planning and specials.

Cost Control & Inventory:

Manage food costs, portion control, stock rotation (FIFO), and supplier orders to minimise wastage and meet margin targets.

Hygiene & Safety:

Maintain strict compliance with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) hygiene standards, workplace safety, and sanitation protocols.

Operations & Collaboration:

Work closely with the management and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless guest dining experience.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-standard dining establishment.

Strong leadership, communication, and team management capabilities.

Solid understanding of food costing, inventory management, and kitchen P&L.

Valid Basic Food Hygiene / Food Safety Course Level 1 & 3 certification (or equivalent).

Ability to work, weekends, and public holidays as required.
