Within this segment, Eaton has an opening for Product Engineer Commissioning & Software – Global Data Center Segment. This position is a globally scoped, senior level individual contributor in the Post Order Center of Excellence (CoE). This role partners closely with the Offer Manager – Services to translate global services offer strategy into Pré tested and Modular Solutions Comissiong & Service Software ready, improving FPY (first pass yield), decreasing overall service hours in the site and leveraging customer satisfaction across regions.

The position acts as a key “connective tissue” between Systems, Equipment’s, Modular Solution plants and the field leveraging a digital commissioning and software management supporting global visibility on FPY (first past yield) and providing testing available data for the customer enhancing trust and saving field service time for the customer.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and standardize industrialization methodologies, processes and best practices, contributing to manufacturing engineering knowledge and capability
  • Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturability, quality and operational performance.
  • Support the Offer Manager – Services in maintaining clear, structured offer definitions and the “digital representation” of services offers (scope elements, deliverables, assumptions, handoffs, acceptance criteria) to reduce regional variance by using technical engineering skillset.
  • Establish and maintain governance routines for offer-data quality (definitions, metadata, and documentation) that support repeatable global execution using innovative engineering solutions to address complex challenges.
  • Coordinate closed-loop feedback (field/program/customer signals) into enhancements to offer content and digital tools enablement using operational technical engineering excellence frameworks.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics dashboards/insights to track global offer adoption, usage patterns, and operational signals—turning insights into actions with the Offer Manager and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Define, implement, and continuously monitor offer-level performance metrics and engineering success indicators aligned with global service delivery objectives. Establish measurable KPIs across adoption, process compliance, milestone execution, quality assurance, and first-time-right delivery to drive consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Engineer data-driven performance insights by analyzing operational trends, identifying execution bottlenecks, data quality gaps, and systemic risks, and designing scalable solutions to improve process efficiency, service quality, and business outcomes.
  • Deliver regular global performance readouts to Post Order CoE stakeholders; highlight blockers, data gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner closely with the Salesforce Expert role to ensure offer-related data and processes are usable, scalable, and aligned with standards—supporting quoting/selling and post-order handoffs.
  • Apply engineering expertise to optimize high volume operational processes, improve system performance and drive continuous improvements.
  • Contribute to the services digital tools roadmap in partnership with global stakeholders (e.g., enablement content, internal VOC signals, standard work, training support), while engineering scalable solutions and process improvements that ensure ensuring tools reinforce global consistency.
  • Support process documentation and user guidance to increase adoption and reduce friction across regions/time zones using data modelling and performance engineering.
  • Support services offer commercialization readiness by improving clarity and accessibility of offer content, documentation, and the data needed for consistent customer-facing execution.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners (PMO, Quality, regional execution leaders, and others) to improve offer execution drivers and reduce rework driven by unclear/unsupported offer definitions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of (10) years of progressive experience product management, service product management, commissioning, operations, or systems delivery within complex industrial, digital, or infrastructure environments.

Skills

  • Proven experience defining and managing global service or solution offerings.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, commissioning concepts, and operational service models.
  • Proven experience operating at a global or enterprise level, supporting multi‑region delivery models.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish governance and drive execution rigor without direct line authority.
  • Strong customer‑facing skills with the ability to operate at executive levels.
  • Lead clarification and resolution of complex technical, commercial, and execution issues.
  • Drive structured problem‑solving and decision‑making across functions.
  • High‑impact role influencing how Eaton delivers and scales post‑order services for complex, mission‑critical data center environments.
  • Operates with significant autonomy within established strategic direction.
  • Balances digital platform evolution with real‑world service execution constraints.
  • Escalate effectively when required, ensuring speed, transparency, and leadership alignment.
  • Leverage Safety behavior in each interaction and drives field services processes and drives EHS policy compliance
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
