  • Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, access-control policies, network segmentation, and other network-security controls.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to identify vulnerabilities, security threats, unauthorized access, and suspicious network activity.
  • Implement network security measures including segmentation, access controls, secure configurations, encryption, monitoring, and traffic filtering.
  • Manage remote-access VPNs, site-to-site VPNs, secure tunnels, and other remote connectivity solutions.
  • Configure and maintain wireless networks, including enterprise Wi-Fi, wireless access points, controllers, authentication, coverage, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct wireless surveys and troubleshoot coverage, interference, authentication, and connectivity problems where required.
  • Manage IP address allocation, subnetting, DHCP scopes, DNS configurations, and network addressing records.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, device inventories, configuration backups, IP address records, and technical documentation.
  • Perform network configuration changes, upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades while minimizing downtime and operational disruption.
  • Test new network equipment, technologies, configurations, and connectivity solutions before production deployment.
  • Perform network capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades based on business growth and performance requirements.
  • Analyze network traffic and performance data to identify bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and optimization opportunities.
  • Manage network monitoring and alerting systems and respond to performance and availability alerts.
  • Maintain network device firmware, operating systems, patches, security updates, and configuration standards.
  • Establish configuration-management and backup procedures for network infrastructure.
  • Maintain secure and recoverable backups of network device configurations and critical infrastructure settings.
  • Support data-center networking, server connectivity, storage networking, virtualization platforms, and infrastructure systems where applicable.
  • Support cloud networking environments, including connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Configure and maintain cloud networking components, virtual networks, routing, security groups, VPN connections, and hybrid connectivity where required.
  • Support network integration during new office openings, infrastructure projects, system migrations, acquisitions, and technology deployments.
  • Coordinate with IT support, system administrators, application teams, cybersecurity teams, cloud engineers, and project managers.
  • Work with internet service providers, telecommunications providers, hardware vendors, software vendors, and external service providers.
  • Manage vendor escalations and coordinate troubleshooting for carrier, connectivity, hardware, and service-related issues.

  • Assist with procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, equipment requirements, and vendor evaluations.
  • Maintain network-related licenses, service contracts, support agreements, warranties, and maintenance records.
  • Conduct network health checks, technical assessments, infrastructure reviews, and security configuration reviews.
  • Participate in disaster-recovery and business-continuity planning for network infrastructure.
  • Develop and test network redundancy, failover, backup connectivity, and recovery procedures.
  • Participate in incident-response activities involving network security events, outages, and infrastructure failures.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational IT policies, cybersecurity requirements, technical standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Prepare network performance reports, incident reports, capacity reports, infrastructure assessments, and management presentations.
