Senior Data analyst- SQL query writing expert

Role: Sr. Data analyst

Location: Dubai

Work mode: Work from office

Experience required: Minimum 15yrs of exp

Must have: Banking experience

• 16+ years of exp, Dubai location
• Very strong in SQL skills, query writing, query optimization
• Strong in data analysis, data and database concepts
• Should have worked in banking or finance domain project/s
• Should be open and show eagerness to reskill
• Risk domain knowledge is good to have (not a mandatory skill)
• Data Discovery /Data Sources Identification
• Analyzing data for data quality and data integrity issues
• Support in data cleansing and data Enrichment
• Suggest and coordinate for improvements in data
• Document processes / suggest improvements to systems
• Supporting Vendor for documenting Business Rules /Validation of Rules
• Internal Team Coordination / Validating Recon process
• Functional Specification document finalization (Business Rules, Data Mapping Business Logic, Reconciliation /Exception Rules, Completeness)
• Present findings to senior stakeholders on the data challenges
• Support integration activities with FIS Balance-sheet manager solution
• Define entry/ exit criteria for SIT and UAT.
• Participate in creation of Test scenarios covering exceptions, DQ, recon, completeness, reports validation, business rules validation, data flow, adjustments and others
• Participate in creation of Test Scripts (iterative cycle)
• Validation of Test Results (iterative cycle)
• Support for Go Live / Support post go live
• Identify post live issues and support in resolution
• Developing and supporting report development processes
• Participate in data workshops to align data structures of key subsidiaries and international entities
• Liaison with subsidiary data, Risk, Finance and IT teams.
• Understanding subsidiary business rules and automation of business rules.
• Data discovery, Data cleaning activities related to subsidiaries.
• Data Testing related to subsidiaries.
• Validating Recon process
