Associate Frontend Engineer

About the role Arabian Private Holdings is adding an Associate Frontend Engineer to support our technical mandates for a Dubai-based financial services firm. This role exists to ensure that complex corporate data and strategic insights are presented through clear, functional, and reliable web interfaces. You will work closely with our principals to build tools that help our clients visualize their operating models and governance structures with precision.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain clean, efficient user interfaces for internal research tools and client-facing dashboards.
• Translate complex financial data and strategy visualizations into accessible web components for our Dubai-based financial services client.
• Collaborate with principals to ensure technical designs reflect the firm's specific strategic requirements and brand standards.
• Participate in the rationalization of frontend architectures to ensure long-term stability and performance for our mandates.
• Write clear, concise technical documentation for all developed features to maintain internal knowledge continuity.
• Perform basic testing and debugging to ensure a consistent experience across different browsers and devices.
• Research emerging frontend technologies that can improve the performance of our client reporting tools.
• Support the firm in building custom governance portals that help large holding companies manage their portfolios.

What we are looking for

• A fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with an interest in building functional corporate tools.
• Clarity of thought and the ability to explain technical decisions using plain English rather than jargon.
• Strong written precision, ensuring that all technical output and communication is professional and error-free.
• A logical approach to problem-solving and a curiosity about how digital tools support high-level business decisions.
• Basic familiarity with at least one modern frontend library or framework, such as React or Vue, through academic or personal projects.
• An eye for detail regarding layout, typography, and visual clarity, ensuring interfaces are easy for executives to navigate.
• A willingness to learn the nuances of corporate governance and how software can assist in portfolio management.
