MEP Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated MEP Project Manager to lead and manage MEP building construction projects from planning and mobilization through execution, testing, commissioning, and final handover.

The ideal candidate should have strong UAE MEP contracting and building construction experience, excellent leadership skills, and proven ability to manage project teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete MEP project execution from mobilization to final handover.
• Lead and coordinate HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm and ELV works.
• Manage project engineers, site engineers, supervisors, foremen, technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower plans, material requirements, and resources.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical documents.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and other project disciplines.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, safety, cost, and material procurement.
• Manage variations, project costs, resources, and commercial requirements.
• Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings, specifications, UAE regulations, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and project close-out.
• Prepare and submit regular project progress reports to senior management.
• Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budget, quality, and schedule.
• Maintain proper project documentation, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, test reports, and handover documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of MEP construction experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a Project Manager role.
• Strong experience in UAE building construction / MEP contracting projects.
• Excellent knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and approval procedures.
• Experience in managing consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and large project teams.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, procurement, cost control, and project execution.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Primavera P6/MS Project is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE will be preferred.

Pay: AED17,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
