Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring that all project requirements are met within the specified timelines and budgets. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and proficiency in various engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, utilizing tools such as Primavera and ProCore.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards on construction sites.
• Utilize Civil 3D for design purposes and HeavyBid for estimating project costs.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support team development through mentorship.
• Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders, highlighting milestones achieved and any potential risks or delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction processes.
• Proficiency in engineering software including Civil 3D, ProCore, Primavera, HeavyBid, and blueprint reading capabilities.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for reviewing schematics and project documentation.
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities.
