Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager with strong experience in precast concrete manufacturing and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining quality management systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable standards, and leading the QA/QC team across factory and site operations.

The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of precast concrete production, structural works, inspection procedures, material testing, NCR management, ITPs, method statements, and quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all QA/QC activities for precast manufacturing and construction projects.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the project/factory Quality Management System (QMS).
• Prepare, review, and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, checklists, and quality procedures.
• Ensure precast products and construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Supervise quality inspections at different stages of precast production, including:
• Reinforcement and embedded items
• Mould preparation and dimensional checks
• Concrete batching and casting
• Concrete testing
• Curing
• Demoulding
• Finishing
• Storage and handling
• Coordinate with production and construction teams to identify and resolve quality issues at the earliest stage.
• Review material submittals, technical documents, test certificates, inspection reports, and laboratory results.
• Ensure proper implementation of incoming material inspection and testing procedures.
• Monitor concrete quality, mix designs, cube testing, reinforcement, inserts, dimensions, tolerances, and finishing requirements.
• Conduct regular factory and site inspections and ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
• Manage NCRs, corrective actions, preventive actions (CAPA), and root-cause analysis.
• Monitor quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rejection, and rework.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, third-party inspectors, laboratories, and project teams regarding quality matters.
• Participate in client/consultant inspections, audits, factory acceptance inspections, and project quality meetings.
• Ensure all QA/QC documentation, inspection records, test reports, and quality dossiers are properly maintained.
• Lead and mentor QA/QC engineers, inspectors, technicians, and laboratory personnel.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external/client audits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant UAE regulations, international standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Prepare and submit regular QA/QC reports and quality performance KPIs to senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve production quality, reduce wastage, and enhance overall project performance.

Precast-Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure quality control throughout the complete precast manufacturing cycle.
• Verify mould dimensions, alignment, reinforcement placement, cover, inserts, lifting anchors, and embedded items.
• Monitor concrete batching, mixing, placement, vibration, curing, and demoulding processes.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish of precast elements.
• Review and approve inspection records before dispatch of precast elements.
• Monitor proper storage, stacking, lifting, transportation, and handling procedures.
• Ensure traceability of precast elements from production through delivery and installation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably within the UAE/GCC.
• Strong experience in both precast concrete manufacturing and construction projects.
• Previous experience as a QA/QC Manager, Quality Manager, or similar senior position.
• Strong knowledge of precast production processes and construction quality control.
• Excellent knowledge of ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, RFIs, material approvals, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
• Strong understanding of concrete technology, reinforcement, structural works, and construction materials.
• Familiarity with relevant ASTM, BS, EN, ACI, ISO 9001, and project-specific standards.
• Experience dealing with consultants, clients, third-party laboratories, and inspection agencies.
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and quality management/documentation systems.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10–15+ years of QA/QC experience in precast and construction.
• Proven experience managing QA/QC operations for large-scale precast factories and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, structural elements, precast production, and site installation.
• Experience with client/consultant audits and quality approvals.
• Strong track record of reducing NCRs, defects, rework, and material wastage.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.

Compensation

Salary: AED 20,000 – AED 25,000 per month

Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, technical expertise, and overall suitability for the role.

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
