Sales Engineer

About the Role

Besomi is looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong electronics background to join our Abu Dhabi showroom. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge in electronics with excellent sales and customer-service skills.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable electronic products and solutions, generating sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers at the Abu Dhabi showroom in a professional manner. • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate electronic products and solutions. • Explain product specifications, features, applications, and technical benefits clearly to customers. • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. • Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers based on customer requirements. • Follow up with customers from initial inquiry through quotation, negotiation, and closing. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. • Identify new sales opportunities and actively generate leads. • Conduct product demonstrations when required. • Provide basic technical support and guidance to customers regarding electronic products. • Coordinate with the procurement, technical, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment. • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and new electronic products. • Maintain accurate customer and sales records and provide regular sales reports. • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution. • Support showroom activities, product displays, promotions, and events. • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure excellent customer experience at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in electronics, electrical products, components, or technical solutions. • Strong technical understanding of electronic products and components. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets. • Strong knowledge of the UAE market is an advantage. • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a technically knowledgeable and commercially driven Sales Engineer who can confidently communicate with customers, understand their electronic requirements, recommend the right products, and close sales professionally.

Experience in electronics retail, B2B sales, electronic components, test & measurement equipment, automation, robotics, or related technical products will be highly preferred.
