Are you a passionate storyteller and talented writer with solid design skills? We are offering an exciting opportunity to join DHL Supply Chain’s Global Divisional Communications and Engagement team.
If this sounds like a team you'd like to join, keep reading... ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA This internship is part of a local scheme with universities in Germany. The main eligibility criterion is to be actively enrolled in a university program throughout the entire duration of the internship. You will be required to provide documentation such as your ID, student visa, and enrolment certificate as part of the eligibility verification process. YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE* Ideate, create and polish internal stories for our employee intranet.
- Have a driving role in managing our editorial pipeline; scoping out potential stories, aligning with topic owners and stakeholders and uncovering compelling angles for our audiences.
- Assist in the development and execution of internal communications campaigns.
- Contribute to the management of internal communications assets (digital and printed), presentations, to ensure standardization across the EMEA region.
- Create visually appealing content using design software like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools.
- Support the Communications Operations Director on related communications projects.
- Participate in project meetings and support project management tasks, helping to streamline workflow and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate across departments to support various communication needs and reinforce brand consistency.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU?* You are currently enrolled in a university programme in Germany and will be enrolled for the entire duration of your internship.
- You are pursuing a degree in communications, design, marketing or other related fields.
- Based in/near Bonn or willing to relocate for this office-based position.
- You are eligible to work at least 6 months full-time in 2026 (please check with your university).
- C2 / native-level English with excellent grasp of grammar.
- Interested in learning internal communications strategy, branding – incl. visual design, and project management.
- Great design skills and experience with Canva and Microsoft 365 - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere) is a plus.
- Knowledge of employee branding, and campaign development.
A creative and analytical mindset, with good attention to detail and data-driven skills to enhance campaign effectiveness.
