Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Precast Factory Manager to oversee the complete operations of a precast concrete manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in precast production, factory operations, manpower management, quality control, maintenance, safety, cost control, and production planning.

The Factory Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient plant operations, achieving production targets, maintaining product quality, controlling costs and wastage, and ensuring timely delivery of precast products. These responsibilities align with current UAE precast plant-management roles, which emphasize production, quality, maintenance, logistics, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the complete day-to-day operations of the precast manufacturing facility.
• Develop and monitor production plans, schedules, manpower allocation, and resource requirements.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining required quality and delivery schedules.
• Oversee the complete precast production process, including mould preparation, reinforcement fixing, casting, curing, demoulding, finishing, storage, and dispatch.
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, Planning, Procurement, Stores, Logistics, and Project teams.
• Monitor production efficiency, plant capacity, manpower productivity, equipment utilization, wastage, and downtime.
• Ensure all precast products comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Implement effective quality-control procedures to minimize defects, rejection, rework, and material wastage.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are properly implemented for machinery, moulds, batching systems, cranes, and other plant equipment.
• Monitor and control raw material consumption, inventory, production costs, and operating expenses.
• Develop and monitor factory KPIs related to productivity, quality, wastage, cost, equipment utilization, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and environmental requirements.
• Lead, train, motivate, and manage factory staff, supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production workers.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and continuous-improvement measures.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly factory production and performance reports.
• Coordinate with senior management regarding production capacity, budgets, manpower requirements, capital expenditure, and operational challenges.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of precast elements according to project requirements.
• Maintain strong discipline, productivity, accountability, and teamwork throughout the factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of total experience, with significant experience in precast concrete manufacturing/factory management.
• Proven experience in a Factory Manager, Plant Manager, Plant Head, or similar senior management position.
• Strong knowledge of precast concrete production processes, mould systems, reinforcement, concrete technology, curing, demoulding, finishing, and handling.
• Experience managing large-scale production teams and factory operations.
• Strong knowledge of quality management, HSE, preventive maintenance, production planning, and cost control.
• UAE/GCC experience in the precast or construction manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP/production management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with 10–15+ years of precast industry experience will be preferred.
• Experience managing a complete precast plant/factory is highly desirable.
• Strong track record of achieving production targets while reducing wastage, downtime, rejection, and operational costs.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
