Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to manage and oversee the complete production operations of a precast concrete manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must have extensive UAE experience in precast production, strong technical knowledge, and proven leadership capabilities.

The role will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, quality, productivity, material utilization, equipment efficiency, safety, and timely delivery of precast products. These are consistent with current UAE precast production-management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly precast production activities.
• Develop production schedules based on project priorities, capacity, manpower, materials, mould availability, and delivery requirements.
• Manage the complete precast production cycle, including mould preparation, reinforcement fixing, embedded items, casting, curing, demoulding, finishing, stacking, and dispatch.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within approved schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Monitor production output, productivity, cycle times, mould utilization, manpower efficiency, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate closely with Planning, QA/QC, Engineering, Procurement, Maintenance, Stores, Logistics, and Project teams.
• Ensure availability and optimum utilization of raw materials, moulds, machinery, manpower, and other production resources.
• Monitor concrete consumption, reinforcement usage, admixtures, consumables, and production wastage.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
• Ensure all precast products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to minimize defects, rejection, rework, and NCRs.
• Coordinate pre-pour and post-pour inspections and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Monitor preventive maintenance requirements and coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure proper handling, lifting, storage, stacking, loading, and dispatch of finished precast elements.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and KPI reports.
• Lead, motivate, train, and supervise production engineers, supervisors, foremen, technicians, and workers.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and company policies.
• Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to increase plant efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate production and dispatch priorities with project and site teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of professional experience in the UAE.
• Strong and proven experience specifically in precast concrete production/manufacturing.
• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Precast Production Manager, Production Head, or similar senior position.
• Strong knowledge of precast manufacturing processes, concrete technology, reinforcement, mould systems, curing, demoulding, finishing, and handling.
• Experience in managing large production teams and high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, resource allocation, productivity monitoring, and cost/wastage control.
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings, precast shop drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements applicable to precast manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/production management systems is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in large-scale UAE precast factories will be highly preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10–15+ years UAE experience is mandatory.
• Strong background in precast concrete manufacturing and production management.
• Proven ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and controlling wastage.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary production teams.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period will be preferred.
