YOUR ROLE

The Production Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products manufactured in production meet defined quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role works closely with production, process engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to detect, prevent, and resolve quality issues, improve manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities* Monitor and analyze production quality performance, including defects, scrap, rework, and yields.

  • Investigate non-conformities, customer complaints, and internal quality issues using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support control plan, inspection plan, and quality documentation updates.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve process capability and stability.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and product/process verification activities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, internal standards, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Track quality KPIs and prepare reports for management review.
  • Participate in new product introduction and process validation activities.
  • Support supplier quality and incoming material quality when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce variations and improve productivity.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Industrial Engineering .
  • 2–5 years of experience in semiconductor production quality, manufacturing quality, or process quality.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools such as:
    • 8D
    • Fishbone diagram/
    • 5 Whys
    • SPC
    • FMEA
    • Control Plan
    • CAPA
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality data analysis tools.
