The opportunity 

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager Engineering or Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage converter system projects from sales/tender phase to initiation and through to completion, ensuring Engineering deliverables are on time, within budget, and in line with quality requirements. 

How you’ll make an impact 

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Engineering within defined timelines and budgets  

Lead the technical solution development during sales and tender phase for Engineering. 

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with stakeholders  

Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution  

Communicate project plans, progress, and expectations clearly and proactively  

Assess resource requirements and ensure effective allocation throughout the project lifecycle  

Track Engineering project milestones, timelines, and deliverables using appropriate tools  

Identify technical risks early, manage changes in scope, and implement suitable mitigation measures  

Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, fostering accountability and high performance  

Conduct project reviews and capture key learnings, deriving actionable recommendations for future improvements 

Your background 

Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering  

Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution within an engineering environment  

Experience with power systems and converter systems is a plus 

Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects  

PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage  

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills  

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment  

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills  

Fluency in English is required; German is a plus
