WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Sales Director Sportswear Specialty/Energy will be part of the EMEA Sales organization and report to the Sr. Sales Director, Nike Sportswear (aka lifestyle & fashion).
Key stakeholders include, but are not limited to, the GM of Nike Energy EMEA, peers in the Nike Sportswear Sales organization who manage other channels of distribution, Country and Account Sales Leaders, Account Executives, Nike Sportswear and Energy merchandising teams, Planning teams, and Supply Chain Executives.They will have one Sales Lead reporting directly to them.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
For the Sales Director Sportswear Specialty/Energy role, we are looking for a candidate who:
- Demonstrates a strong track record of building and executing commercial strategies across categories, regions, or accounts.
- Can translate a global/geography strategy into a channel- and market-specific, consumer-centric strategy.
- Has a proven track record of growing long-term revenue streams through product introduction, differentiation and diversification, assortment elevation, and commercial expansion.
- Excels in multi-level and cross-functional stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
- Has experience in, and a strong interest and connection to, sneaker culture, streetwear, and fashion.
- Understands the dynamics of product journeys, introducing and incubating new ideas, and how this contributes to longer-term scaled success.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As part of the EMEA NSW Sales team, you will work with your leader, peers, cross-functional collaborators, and account and regional representatives to further develop and accelerate the Nike Sportswear Specialty & Energy business. This portfolio serves consumers through 50+ retail partners in EMEA across sneaker culture, heritage, and high-end fashion destinations.
The Sales Director Sportswear Specialty/Energy will:
- Translate the global/geography strategic direction into Sportswear Specialty channel-specific multi-year and seasonal strategies, and lead the implementation and execution of those strategies.
- Create channel-, market-, and account-specific differentiation, facilitate retail experience elevation, and advise on channel and partner expansion.
- Create a commercial operating model for the channel and how it works with other functions across the organizational matrix, integrate the Energy offense into the broader organization’s processes, and redefine the interaction rhythm with key retail partners.
- Lead seasonal internal go-to-market planning and execution to drive readiness and inspiration for the channel and the holistic Nike Sportswear business.
- Help drive the go-to-market process for top retail partners by collaborating with account leaders and presenting at seasonal kick-off meetings.
- Set and help land Strategic Account and Country commercial targets tied to overall Nike Sportswear targets.
- Engage with retail partners through the go-to-market process and overall operating model, including setting up and attending Nike-organized summits and meetings, as well as key industry moments such as fashion weeks.
- Manage the Sales Lead headcount that will help execute the above on a day-to-day basis, and invest in further developing this person and other talent in the organization.
