Job Description Civil Inspector - Roads/Utility Abu Dhabi, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Inspector (Roads) to join our team! In this role you will inspect roadworks and associated civil infrastructure to ensure construction is delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and safety requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Inspect road construction activities (earthworks, subgrade / subbase / base, asphalt / paving) along with associated roads and infrastructure works.
• Support inspection of roads, drainage and wet utilities interfaces and witness required tests.
• Verify materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain daily diaries / reports, IR records and logs; document NCRs / defects and follow up corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, testing agencies / labs and the supervision team to resolve site issues and maintain progress.
• Promote HSE compliance and safe work practices on site.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant inspection experience in roads and civil infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of drawings / specifications, inspection procedures and site documentation / reporting.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a site-based environment.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring

• Experience on DMT road projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong exposure to drainage/wet utilities interfaces and related testing/inspection documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards and close-out/as-built documentation practices.
