Job Title: HSEQ Officer

Job description:

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
• Implement and monitor HSEQ policies, procedures, and site safety requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, JSA, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
• Monitor high-risk activities including lifting operations, work at height, excavation, scaffolding, hot work, and confined spaces.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safe working practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and prepare reports.
• Monitor environmental practices, including waste management, dust, noise, and hazardous materials.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain HSEQ documentation, inspection checklists, reports, and records.
• Assist with internal, client, consultant, and external HSEQ audits.
• Conduct emergency drills and ensure emergency preparedness at site.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers to resolve HSEQ issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSEQ regulations, client requirements, and applicable ISO standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety**, Environmental Management, Engineering**, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HSEQ/HSE experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices and risk management.
• NEBOSH / IOSH certification will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
