Senior Interior Designer

SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

We are currently looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join our design team at our Abu Dhabi Main Office. The ideal candidate should have strong design creativity, effective management and team leadership skills, excellent technical and presentation abilities, and experience managing all stages of interior design projects, from concept through to tender and construction.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as an Interior Designer on high-profile projects, preferably within an internationally renowned design office.
• Strong experience in managing interior design projects from concept design through detailed design, tendering, and construction stages.
• Excellent communication, budget control, planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Excellent aesthetic sensibility with a strong understanding of contemporary and timeless interior design.
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to develop and resolve interior design solutions through innovative thinking.
• Creative mindset with fresh ideas, innovative design thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized, with a continuous desire to learn and develop.
• Strong team-player attitude with the ability to organize own work, coordinate with Project Leaders, and mentor junior team members.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3D Max, Rhino, or similar design and visualization software.
• Strong knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of rendering and visualization software such as V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Corona, or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of interior finishes, furniture, fixtures, materials, products, and construction methods, particularly within the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of interior detailing, specifications, material selections, and coordination with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and client presentations.
• Able to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Able to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible attitude towards new ways of thinking, designing, and working.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting project deadlines.
• Responsible and accountable, with the ability to foresee risks, resolve conflicts, and provide effective design solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Assist in guiding and mentoring Junior Interior Designers.
• Contribute to and assist with ad-hoc design projects and company initiatives.
