Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) – Grade 7 to oversee electrical maintenance, operations, and compliance matters.
Responsibilities
- Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair works to ensure system reliability and safety
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maintain optimal electrical system performance
- Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulatory and safety requirements to uphold workplace safety standards
- Supervise and coordinate contractors, technicians, and service providers to deliver quality electrical services
- Conduct inspections to verify electrical systems are maintained in safe and proper working condition
- Support testing, commissioning, and electrical upgrading works to enhance system capabilities
- Maintain accurate electrical records, reports, and required documentation for compliance and audit purposes
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and relevant parties on electrical matters to facilitate effective communication and project coordination
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management to support operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a relevant NITEC/ITE Certificate in electrical work plus at least 5 years of practical electrical experience in Singapore
- Possess a valid Singapore Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 licence
- Demonstrate relevant working experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, or facilities operations
- Apply good knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safety requirements in daily tasks
- Familiar with relevant Singapore electrical regulations and codes of practice to ensure compliance
- Exhibit strong coordination and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resolve issues effectively
- Work independently and collaborate effectively with site and technical teams
- Communicate clearly and maintain good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and stakeholder engagement
