Job description

Govern the Operational Excellence System - Drive Business Impact - Challenge the Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and continuously improve the Operational Excellence management system for the Hamburg Wafer Fab.

  • Align improvement priorities and targets with the local Fab Management Team.

  • Drive and monitor execution of strategic improvement initiatives.

  • Own the site Cost Down roadmap and facilitate regular management reviews.

  • Ensure transparency of the initiatives, including owners, KPIs, benefits, and status.

  • Act as a challenger of the organization, driving accountability and results.

  • Escalate risks, delays, and performance gaps when business targets are at risk.

  • Ensure sustainable implementation and realization of improvement benefits.

  • Drive cross-factory collaboration and best-practice transfer within the global Operational Excellence network.

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, Operational Excellence, Manufacturing, Operations, or Industrial Engineering

  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and factory operations preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience in driving cross-functional improvement initiatives and delivering measurable results.

  • Ability to influence, challenge, and align stakeholders up to senior management level.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a management-oriented mindset.

  • Structured, result-oriented, and highly self-driven way of working.

  • Interest in digitalization, automation, data analytics, and AI applications.

  • Fluent English skills; German is highly desirable.
