About the Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Energy Industry (Energiewirtschaft) to join our team responsible for technical market communication within the German energy market.

Our team acts as a central hub for the exchange of information between companies involved in the energy market. We ensure that important processes such as customer registrations, deregistrations, supplier switching, and billing operate reliably and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Market Communication

• Work within technical market communication for the German energy industry.
• Consider and apply regulatory requirements established by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur).
• Support reliable and automated information exchange between energy-market participants.

Market Process Analysis

• Analyze, design, and document market and supplier-switching processes.
• Examine complex energy-market workflows and dependencies.
• Create structured and transparent process documentation.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Boolean logic, relational databases, and complex rule systems.
• Knowledge of APIs and YAML.
• Initial experience with SAP systems.
• Basic understanding of modern IT architectures.
• German language proficiency at C1 level.
• English language proficiency at B2 level.
