Mexican Cuisine Chef

Location: River Valley Road, SingaporeWorking Hours: 4.00pm–11.00pm

Salary: To be discussed based on experience

We are looking for a responsible and experienced chef to join our kitchen team. Prior experience in Mexican cuisine is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas and nachos
• Carry out daily food preparation and ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Follow established recipes, portion sizes and SOPs
• Maintain consistent food quality and presentation
• Ensure proper food storage, labelling, stock rotation and FIFO practices
• Conduct regular stock taking and report low-stock items
• Minimise food wastage and control ingredient usage
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Perform daily housekeeping, including cleaning equipment, workstations and storage areas
• Receive and check supplier deliveries
• Comply with food-safety and workplace-safety requirements
• Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Relevant cooking or kitchen experience
• Prior Mexican cuisine experience preferred
• Able to work independently and manage multiple orders efficiently
• Familiar with kitchen hygiene, food safety and stock management
• Responsible, punctual and willing to follow SOPs
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Singapore food-safety certification preferred
• Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore
