Job Summary

Support project management by coordinating steel fabrication and installation site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while assisting in technical documentation and cost monitoring. To be involved in full project cycle from tendering, project management till completion of project.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring site work schedules to ensure supervisors and foremen meet client requirements, project timelines, and quality standards
• Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOM), method statements, inspection checklists, and regular project progress/status reports to maintain accurate project documentation
• Utilize AutoCAD or similar drafting software to prepare and review shop drawings, ensuring compliance with BCA codes, project specifications, and engineering standards (preferred)
• Support cost estimation for new project tenders and monitor budgets, material usage, and manpower allocation for ongoing projects to optimize resource management
• Supervise daily site activities including steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and alignment works while enforcing quality assurance procedures and site safety regulations to maintain high standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant site work experience in Singapore
• Possess BCSS or other relevant safety training certifications
• Good understanding of steel works and fabrication processes such as welding, cutting and bending process
• Strong knowledge of steel structure installation methods and site coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with local codes, standards, and safety practices

Pay: $2,600.00 - $4,200.00 per month
