Job Description
The Data Engineer will design, develop and maintain data platforms and pipelines that support business analytics and data-driven applications. The role involves working with large datasets, developing scalable data solutions and ensuring data is reliable, secure and accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists and software engineers.
- Maintain data platforms, documentation and security standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT or data-platform development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
- Programming experience with Python, Java or similar languages.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, data warehouses and data modelling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay: $6,500.00 - $9,000.00 per month
