With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.

Your Role

be responsible for the development, verification and integration of mechatronics, high- voltage modules in a high-end wafer tool

be part of development project team with internal and external partners and be responsible for sub-projects

breakdown system specifications into requirements and align with other R&D stakeholders

test the prototypes in the laboratory or cleanroom and create the technical documentation to ensure the product's performance

lead internal and external development partners for mechatronic components within an international network

document and manage technical data (product requirements document, material master data)

Your Profile

above-average degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable technical degree

experience in the development of highly complex mechatronic systems, high- voltage machines, vacuum or electromagnetic devices and a comprehensive understanding of systems through your knowledge, particularly in the fields of semiconductor and measurement technology (electron microscopy)

proven experience in the development of wafers positioning systems for a measurement process is an advantage

possess knowledge and skills to design complex systems using suitable modeling and simulation methods (e.g., Design of Experiments, Python, FMEA, etc.)

excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German language is a plus

ability to manage uncertainty in a rapidly changing environment

collaboration and conflict resolution skills

willingness to travel abroad for work
