Job description:

Costing is a fundamental area of management accounting that provides organizations with the tools needed to understand, measure, and manage costs effectively. This course introduces key concepts and contemporary approaches, including cost-volume-profit analysis, relevant costing, job and activity-based costing, pricing decisions, cost allocation, customer profitability, and strategic cost management. It also addresses the role of information technology and emerging challenges in management accounting. 

Combining theory with practical applications, students learn to evaluate organizational performance, identify and manage business risks, apply relevant management tools, and understand current and future challenges in performance and risk management. 

Amount of Teaching per Week: 2 × 45 minutes (2 teaching units), starting in the first week of October 2026. Teaching will be conducted online and lasts for 14 weeks, plus an examination period of two weeks.

External Lecturer (m/w/d) – Performance and Risk Management (3rd Semester)

Job description:

Performance and Risk Management provides students with fundamental concepts, theories, and tools for managing organizational performance and risk. The course covers strategic planning, performance measurement, management systems, IT, reward systems, team performance, and key approaches to risk management, including relevant social and ethical aspects.

Combining theory with practical applications, students learn to evaluate organizational performance, identify and manage business risks, apply relevant management tools, and understand current and future challenges in performance and risk management.

Amount of Teaching per Week: 2 × 45 minutes (2 teaching units), starting in the first week of October 2026. Teaching will be conducted online and lasts for 14 weeks, plus an examination period of two weeks.
