Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team based on our project in Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the mechanical related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Carrying out inspections of mechanical works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
  • Monitoring installation activities related to HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
  • Ensuring works are executed in compliance with quality, safety, and authority requirements.
  • Conducting material inspections and review method statements and inspection requests.
  • Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
  • Preparing inspection reports, snag lists, and daily progress updates.
  • Verifying, testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 8 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience in Dubai-based infrastructure projects, particularly in the construction of landscaping, water bodies, pump rooms, and swimming pools, is essential for this role.
