MEP Procurement Officer – Job Requirements (UAE Experience Mandatory)

Position: MEP Procurement Officer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: Minimum 8 years UAE experience in MEP procurement within contracting companies

Key Responsibilities

• MEP Material Sourcing — Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials.
• Vendor Management — Maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and negotiate competitive pricing.
• Purchase Order Control — Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders ensuring compliance with project timelines.
• Technical Compliance — Review material submittals, specifications, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Cost Optimization — Implement cost‑saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Coordination — Work closely with project engineers, QS, and site teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Logistics & Delivery — Monitor delivery schedules and resolve supply chain issues.
• Compliance with UAE Regulations — Ensure all procured materials meet local authority standards (ADDC, ADCD, ADM, etc.).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 8 years UAE experience in MEP procurement (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials, suppliers, and market pricing in UAE.
• Proven experience in high‑rise building projects preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor‑management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office.
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple procurement packages.

Pay: AED2,347.97 - AED8,851.22 per month
