Business Function

DBS’ Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client’s needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Workspace Experience team in delivering workplace management, employee lifecycle administration, access governance and business support services across PB&TPC, while fostering a strong risk and control culture.

  • Employee Lifecycle & Access Governance: Lead the team in managing end-to-end staff onboarding, internal transfers and offboarding, ensuring timely provisioning and revocation of system, building and workplace access, recovery of bank assets, and adherence to internal policies and control requirements.

  • Workspace & Facility Management: Lead workplace planning, office restacking, renovations and facilities-related initiatives to ensure employees are supported with a safe, efficient and future-ready workplace that meets evolving business needs.

  • Business Support & Governance: Oversee vendor and contract management, procurement, KnowledgeHub governance and departmental support processes, ensuring services are delivered efficiently with strong governance and effective stakeholder coordination.

  • Continuous Process Improvement & Automation: Drive process improvements, productivity initiatives and the adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance service delivery, simplify processes and strengthen the team’s effectiveness.

  • Stakeholder Management & People Leadership: Build strong partnerships across Business, HR, Technology, Facilities Management, Risk, Compliance and external vendors. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, while confidently engaging stakeholders and presenting recommendations to management.

  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives, and undertake ad hoc projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Management or a related discipline, with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience in workplace management, business administration, business support or related functions, including people leadership experience.

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to anticipate business needs and proactively develop practical and scalable solutions.

  • Demonstrated track record in driving process improvements, productivity initiatives and leveraging automation or AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.

  • Strong risk and control mindset, with the ability to ensure processes are well governed and executed with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.

  • Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to lead, coach and engage the team effectively to foster collaboration, ownership and high performance.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.

  • Highly organised, meticulous and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and familiar with AI productivity tools such as DBS-GPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms.
