Job description

Negentrix Holding is an educational company with a mission to help people integrate into Germany through practical education and employment. We operate three schools — ABI Akademie, DWW Akademie, IT Career Hub, and Beam Institute of Technology — where we train students for in-demand professions and support them all the way from choosing their career path to securing their first job. Our audience consists of people for whom German is not their native language, but Germany is their new home. We know how to help them become part of society and succeed professionally. Our team is made up of highly qualified EdTech professionals who bring their knowledge and experience to create superior educational programs and inspire our students. We are looking for an experienced Python professional who can help our students prepare for technical interviews and their first IT jobs in Germany. You will combine practical Python expertise with interview preparation, helping students understand real-world development practices and prepare for the technical requirements of the German IT job market. Your responsibilities:

  • Teaching Python and technical interview preparation classes in German 2–3 times per week, from 14:30 to 16:00 Berlin time;
  • Preparing students for technical interviews for Python Developer positions, including typical interview questions, coding tasks, and technical discussions;
  • Assessing student assignments and providing constructive feedback;
  • Helping students understand how to present their technical experience and approach problems during interviews;
  • Participating in school events, including open classes, workshops, and masterclasses.

Requirements

  • Proficient level of German language (native and bilingual speakers are more than welcome);
  • Upper-intermediate English or Russian language;
  • Thorough understanding of core Python language concepts including variables, data types, data structures, functions, classes and modules, using the Python standard library for application development;
  • Hands-on experience with Django and Flask;
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python, including using Celery to process tasks asynchronously;
  • Experience in writing automated tests using Pytest;
  • Experience working with databases and writing efficient SQL queries to retrieve data;
  • Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, ability to design databases, optimize queries, and ensure data security;
  • Teaching or mentoring experience is a strong advantage.

Benefits

  • Remote work from all over the world;
  • Part-time (3 - 6 hours per week);
  • Work with an international IT team. Your future colleagues are programmers from leading European and global IT companies;
  • Upgrading your personal brand. You will be able to conduct online events, train specialists, and prove yourself as an expert;
  • PR on social networks - participation in webinars, hackathons, live broadcasts on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.;
  • Career growth - the opportunity to become a dean and head the faculty
