Technical Manager (Lifting Equipment Inspection)

1.1.   Maintain technical standards, specifications, and prepare, review and approve inspection & testing procedures

1.2.   Manage third party certification as per their requirement

1.3.   Manage the department sales targets and support the sales team to reach their sales targets 

1.4.   Prepare supporting documents related to inspection activities in coordination with the Inspection Engineer(s).

1.5.   Authorize the Inspection Engineer(s) to carry out inspections within their area of competence and obtain approval from the management in accordance with authorization procedures.

1.6.   Monitor and ensure that the inspection and testing activities are carried out based on the standards set by the company and its QHSE system. Ensure that risk assessment is conducted in coordination with the site safety in charge, and implement control measures to eliminate or reduce the risks.

1.7.   Manages and monitors the proper control, maintenance, calibration and storage of the inspection and testing tools and equipment as per the company standards/procedures, internal quality system and that calibration services are obtained from DAC accredited service provider. Ensure that all inspection, calibration and quality records/certificates are updated, properly maintained and kept on file.

1.8.   Ensure the Internal quality control measures related to technical activities are implemented

1.9.   Ensure security of data by storing it in adequate backup devices, and that all data storage devices, including computer and other backup devices, are adequate.

1.10. Conduct the internal onsite technical audits, quality audit and site evaluation of inspectors. Prepare non-conformance and audit reports. Implement suitable actions to close non-conformances.

1.11. Conduct the customer feedback survey in coordination with the Management Representative and Inspection Engineer(s) to ensure utmost customer satisfaction.

Conduct assessment of suppliers in coordination with the Purchase Executive to ensure the quality of performance
