Job description

Responsibilities:

IT Procurement Management

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously improve procurement strategies, policies, and procedures for IT hardware, software, and services.
  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality products and services.
  • Sourcing & Acquisition: Manage procurement processes including RFP/RFI preparation, bid analysis, contract negotiation, and purchasing execution.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract lifecycle management for IT purchases, including renewals, compliance, and risk assessment.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with IT leadership and finance to forecast and manage procurement budgets, track spend, and deliver cost savings.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of market trends, new technologies, and potential suppliers to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Order Tracking: Raise the PR for the IT team, track the order status, payment, and delivery.

IT Asset Management

  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Maintain accurate records of all IT assets (hardware and software) from acquisition through disposal, ensuring efficient deployment, usage tracking, and end-of-life processes.
  • Inventory Management: Regularly audit and reconcile physical and digital asset inventories. Manage asset tagging and tracking systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure IT asset management complies with company policies, legal, regulatory, and licensing requirements (e.g., software licensing, data privacy).
  • Disposal & Refresh: Coordinate the secure and environmentally responsible decommissioning and disposal of obsolete assets. Plan replacement and refresh cycles.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide timely reports and analytics on procurement activities, asset utilization, spend, and related KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for automation, efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT procurement, asset management, or a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
  • Experience with IT asset management software/tools.
  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, policies, and best practices related to IT procurement and asset management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
