Job Description & Requirements

Core Responsibilities

• Team Supervision : Assign tasks, monitor progress, and mentor drafters.
• Project Oversight : Plan drafting schedules, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Quality Control : Approve final drawings, enforce standards, and minimize errors.
• Workflow Optimization : Apply Lean/Agile methodologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaboration : Coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients to align drafting outputs with project goals.

Technical Expertise Required

• CAD Software : AutoCAD, Creo, Windchill.
• 3D Modeling & Blueprint Reading : Essential for accurate technical documentation.
• Configuration-Based Drafting : Managing template-driven processes for consistency.
• Programming & Office Tools : Basic coding plus Microsoft Office proficiency for reporting and documentation.

Skills & Competencies

• Hard Skills : CAD proficiency, 3D modeling, drafting standards, software integration.
• Soft Skills : Leadership, communication, problem-solving, attention to detail.
• Experience : Typically 5–10 years in drafting/design, with supervisory experience preferred.
