Job description

Primary Function of Position:

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing DACH team, primarily the Customer Experience Center (CEC), in Freiburg in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing, customer experience, and sales initiatives and events.

This role offers broad exposure to local marketing responsibilities, event planning, event execution, asset creation, and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Workplace Services and other internal stakeholders while reporting to the Senior Group Manager Marketing DACH.

A key focus of the internship will be to support process improvements, structured project and event execution, and the development of concepts and assets that enhance the customer and visitor experiences. The intern will also contribute to selected strategic initiatives, including customer persona concepts, inventory management, ecosystem representation, and peer-to-peer programs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Customer Experience Center (CEC)

  • Support with planning, preparation, and execution of internal and external events. Assist with event setup, room and system readiness, and coordination of required resources and documentation.

  • Support the optimization of operations, including inventory management and displays, automation opportunities, and component lifecycle processes.

  • Contribute to the development of customer-centric experiences through persona research, technology evaluation, and visitor journey concepts.

  • Provide cross-functional project and administrative support, collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Compliance and Events teams, and contribute to presentations, documentation, and project execution.

Marketing Communications

  • Participate in marketing asset creation and approval processes, while gaining insight into regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.

  • Support the representation of the Intuitive ecosystem within the CEC with asset creation in alignment with local Marketing Communications coordinator.

Events

  • Support the Marketing Programs team during selected congresses, including traveling in the DACH region.

  • Support educational events and on-site activities in Freiburg with execution of several tasks on need basis.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled student at a German university and eager to gain hands-on experience within a local Marketing organization and a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.

  • Strong interest in marketing, event management, customer experience, medical technology, and continuous process improvement.

  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across functions as well as external stakeholders.

  • Proactive team player with the ability to coordinate projects and provide cross-functional support.

  • Flexible, reliable, and comfortable adapting to changing business needs.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications,

  • Willingness to support on-site events, customer activities, and selected congresses. Occasional travel within the DACH region is required.

Das Eintrittsdatum kann dabei angepasst werden, sofern der Genehmigungsprozess den Einstellungsbedarf nicht unangemessen beeinträchtigt.

Diese Position kann abhängig von den betrieblichen Anforderungen und/oder der Erfahrung der ausgewählten Kandidatin bzw. des ausgewählten Kandidaten auf einer anderen Jobstufe als hier angegeben besetzt werden. Die Vergütung richtet sich nach der Jobstufe sowie der Qualifikationen der Kandidatin bzw. des Kandidaten, selbstverständlich unter Berücksichtigung aller gesetzlichen Vorgaben.
