About the Role

MeasureWorks is looking for a technically skilled and analytical Observability Engineer 

who is passionate about making complex IT environments transparent, measurable, and 

reliable.

In this role, you will work with modern observability solutions to help organizations gain 

real-time insight into application performance, system behavior, and digital user 

experiences. You will transform data from logs, metrics, traces, and user interactions 

into actionable insights that help clients detect issues faster, improve stability, and 

optimize performance.

As an Observability Engineer, you will collaborate closely with consultants, developers, 

DevOps engineers, and clients to design, implement, and improve observability 

strategies across complex digital environments.

Key Responsibilities

Observability & Monitoring

- Implement and configure observability platforms such as Dynatrace within client 

environments

- Monitor applications, digital chains, infrastructure, and user behavior using APM, RUM, 

and related monitoring solutions

- Develop dashboards, alerts, visualizations, and reporting solutions

- Analyze performance bottlenecks and support root cause investigations

- Improve monitoring coverage, reliability, and operational visibility

What We Are Looking For

- Background in Software Development, DevOps Engineering, Site Reliability 

Engineering, or a related technical field (Dutch fluent)

- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Elastic, 

Grafana, Splunk, or New Relic

- Understanding of monitoring concepts including APM, RUM, logging, tracing, and 

infrastructure monitoring

- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for troubleshooting and performance 

optimization

- Experience or interest in performance and load testing is considered a plus

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and technical 

teams

- Curious, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude
