About the Roles

Join a metal components manufacturer as a QC Inspector based in MacPherson, East Singapore. This is a permanent, 5-day position working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm, with a future PM shift of 1:30pm to 11:00pm. The role offers a basic salary of up to $1,900, plus AWS and VB, together with a Monday-to-Friday work schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and docking audits.
• Monitor and document quality standards across processes, products, facilities, and the supply chain.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with FDA/GMP requirements and support the establishment of Quality System requirements for the Singapore facility.
• Verify that products meet required quality standards through internal and external audits.
• Review quality performance against customer satisfaction, quality, and cost standards.
• Identify, record, compile, and report quality non-conformance involving products, services, and processes.
• Control and monitor non-conforming materials and products appropriately.
• Support the documentation, follow-up, and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) raised internally or externally.
• Implement and document corrective and preventive actions arising from quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation under the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Monitor the calibration status of all measuring equipment.
• Maintain the QC department and equipment in proper working condition.
• Coordinate product quality testing with external laboratories when required.
• Support hygiene programmes that promote workplace safety and prevent product contamination.
• Maintain effective programmes covering quality control, waste control, safety, general housekeeping, and corrective maintenance.
• Review and update procedures and processes where required to strengthen quality assurance standards.
• Assist the Quality Manager in preparing monthly quality progress reports.
• Support the Quality Assurance Manager in compiling quality performance data for monthly management reviews.
• Assist with ISO certification activities and support regular audits following certification.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related processes required for ISO certification based on existing production processes.
• Monitor enhancements to QC equipment, methods, and processes, and prepare new SOPs for new processes where required for ISO certification.
• Support hardware and technology transfer and setup activities.
• Attend relevant training on processes and quality requirements for the new project.
• Assist with the commissioning of new equipment, machinery, processes, and capabilities.

Experience:
