HR & OPERATIONS INTERN

We are looking for an individual to help drive Cyrus’s mission from the inside out by supporting HR team in our people operation processes and initiatives. This role is suitable for someone looking to learn the foundations of human resources through real-world experience.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, in-service, and offboarding processes

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRMS and electronic personnel files

Assist in improving and automating HR processes and workflows

Coordinate internal HR meetings, events, and related logistics

Organise and support employee engagement activities, company events, and CSR initiatives

Support planning and execution of employer branding initiatives, including event management and media/advertisement campaigns

Collaborate with stakeholders to support effective HR operations and service delivery

Prepare internal and external communication materials such as EDMs, announcements, posters, and recruitment marketing content

Provide administrative and project support for HR initiatives

Who We Are Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present ideas clearly

Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills

Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders is an added advantage

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, and Google Suite

Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of the internship, the intern will be able to:

Understand and support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding processes

Maintain accurate HR records and demonstrate proper data management practices in HRMS

Develop communication and employer branding materials, including event and media-related content

Gain hands-on experience in organising employee engagement activities, company events, and CSR initiatives

Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills in delivering HR operations and projects
