Senior Systems Engineer

This role drives global digital manufacturing transformation by architecting and sustaining end‑to‑end software and analytics solutions, with a forward‑looking focus on scaling automation, embedding AI into operations, and continuously improving efficiency, quality, and compliance across worldwide sites.

What you will do

• Lead digital transformation projects in global manufacturing, from requirements gathering through deployment, while also sustaining existing solutions for daily operations.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and IT to digitize production workflows, improve process efficiency, and enhance user experience.
• Build and maintain full‑stack web applications, data pipelines, and dashboards (Power BI, Grafana), integrating with MES, ERP, and SCADA systems.
• Manage the full software lifecycle (URS, UAT, validation, hypercare, CI/CD) and ensure compliance with quality, cybersecurity, and architecture standards.
• Apply statistical analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities, and evaluate practical AI use cases to boost operational efficiency.

What you bring

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong full‑stack development experience with proven end‑to‑end delivery of web‑based applications.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, SQL, Apache Spark, and JavaScript, plus hands‑on experience with Power BI, Grafana, Azure DevOps, and Databricks.

Personality

• Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, with working knowledge of statistics, basic network/security concepts, and AI literacy to apply machine learning in business contexts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge technical and non‑technical teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional manufacturing environment and scale solutions across multiple sites.
