Integration Engineer (Enterprise & OT Data)–Oil & Gas / Energy

Builds the connectors that feed the platform: SAP ERP (assets, work orders, notifications, incidents), maintenance systems, process historians, alarm/DCS sources, management-of-change, and APM systems — across a secured IT/OT boundary.

Responsibilities

• Author interface specifications (source, data type, frequency, method, responsibilities) with client IT/OT teams.
• Develop SAP integrations (OData/IDoc/RFC or integration-platform based) for asset, maintenance, and incident data.
• Develop historian and alarm integrations (PI Web API, OPC UA/A&E, or vendor SDKs) for near-realtime streams.
• Implement validation, timestamping, exception handling, retry, and monitoring for every feed. • Support end-to-end integration testing and cutover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years enterprise integration development.
• Hands-on SAP integration experience (any of OData, IDoc, RFC, PI/PO, BTP).
• Experience with at least one industrial data source: OSIsoft PI, Honeywell PHD, OPC UA, or DCS alarm systems.
• REST/SOAP, message queues (Kafka preferred), and secure integration patterns (DMZ, least-privilege service accounts).
