Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage interior fit-out projects from project commencement through to successful completion and handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of the project, including programme, cost, quality, resources, subcontractors, procurement, and client coordination.

The candidate must be available to join immediately.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee multiple interior fit-out projects from mobilisation through to completion and final handover.
  • Develop, review, and monitor project programmes, ensuring works are completed within the agreed contractual timeline.
  • Coordinate all site activities, including civil, architectural, MEP, joinery, finishes, FF&E, and specialist works.
  • Lead project teams, including site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, main contractors, authorities, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, variations, procurement requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Identify potential delays, risks, and issues and implement corrective actions to maintain project progress.
  • Review project drawings and specifications and identify coordination issues or discrepancies before and during construction.
  • Prepare and submit project progress reports, look-ahead programmes, recovery plans, and other required project documentation.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and long-lead items.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers and monitor their performance, productivity, quality, and compliance with the project programme.
  • Attend project meetings and represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor and control project quality and ensure timely rectification of defects and non-conforming works.
  • Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover activities.
  • Review and manage variations, change orders, and additional works in coordination with the commercial and quantity surveying teams.
  • Ensure proper project records and documentation are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical and managerial support to the project team and ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • Additional qualifications or certifications in Project Management will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience managing interior fit-out projects from commencement to completion.
  • Experience in commercial, office, hospitality, residential, retail, or high-end interior fit-out projects is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, fit-out sequencing, finishes, joinery, MEP coordination, and project delivery.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage demanding project deadlines.

Joining Requirement

The selected candidate must be available to start immediately or at the earliest possible date.

Pay: AED19,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
