FF & E Interior Designer

Job Summary

You will have a modern approach with a passion for working in the high-end sector and delivering luxury design. You will be a creative FF&E designer with a solid background in our sector specific areas. The preferred candidate will have proven experience in all aspects of residential and commercial design and you will have worked from concept to completion in accordance with the clients brief with the proven ability to work independently. You must also be confident collaborating with design and architectural teams and working in a client-facing role. You will have experience and an understanding of managing project budgets and timelines, including the FF&E procurement process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assume an assistant role in design presentations in communicating with clients and ensure that format is compatible with office and client standards/requirements
• Help develop and execute the FF&E direction for overall project and communicate to the project team
• Communicate project status to senior FF&E designer on a regular basis and develop and maintain communication with all project team members, including the operations director
• Attend site meetings and assist in the process of reviewing the project Designing and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers in order to ensure FF&E is delivered on time and on budget
• Liaising with design and purchasing teams to ensure FF&E is in line with client expectations and to budget
• Building relationships with suppliers and organizing CPD days
• Working on project ‘fit-outs’ and overseeing the installation of FF&E alongside contractors - involving stays away from home
• Participate in the establishment and maintenance of FF&E design standards for the company
• Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
• Assisting with relevant social media and marketing tasks.
• Present mood board and articulate design proposals for FF&E selections.
• Prepare and keep a track off approved sample boards.
• Oversee the procurement process, including negotiating with suppliers, placing orders, and tracking deliveries.
• Coordinate with the installation team to ensure seamless implementation of FF&E elements within the project timeline.

*Candidates with UAE Driving license and vehicle preferred.
