Job description

Healthy Paw LLP is a fresh pet food company that believes in feeding healthy human-grade food to pets to ensure a happy and healthy life for every pet.

This is a physically demanding position and you are expected to carry heavy items and do cooking and washing.

We are looking for a responsible, hardworking candidate to join our dynamic family to help produce fresh food for dogs and cats!

We are looking for permanent part time or full time positions.

Please note that we are unable to accept work permit workers from NTS locations due to MOM quota issues.

Job scope:

1. Assisting in overall food production processes

  • Ensure food safety and quality control - this is our top priority.
  • Ensure raw ingredients are adequate and taken out to thaw before each production day.
  • Blend, mix and cook dry goods and vegetables that needs to be pre-cooked before production day and pack according to the required amounts in each recipe.
  • Operate cooking equipment and set the correct setting for each recipe.
  • Packing of meals into meal packs.
  • Operating the vacuum sealer machines.

2. Coordinating food production workflows

  • Ensure correct amounts of food ingredients are cooked at the right portions and at the right timings for each recipe.
  • Pouring out cooked food in trays for packing.

3. Prepare and pack orders

  • Consolidate all orders for delivery and distribute to drivers for delivery.
  • Print delivery labels for packing of orders.
  • Prepare address list to tabulate packed orders and for drivers to reference.
  • Packing and sorting of orders.

4. Logistics organisation

  • Coordinate with drivers on delivery route and special delivery requests
  • Update customers on the delivery schedule
  • Organising and keeping of stocks

5. Inventory management

  • Stock take on raw and dry ingredients for upcoming production days
  • Keep track on packaging stocks and inform the team if inventory runs low
  • Procurement of raw and dry ingredients for food production
  • Ensure healthy volume of instock meals available for delivery
  • Assist with the unloading and unpacking of delivered items

6. Maintaining general cleanliness and tidiness at the place of work

  • Ensure general cleanliness of the workplace especially the kitchen and the cooking equipment and appliances (sweep, mop, scrub, wipe)
  • Maintain hygiene and a clean environment to avoid pest infestation (We are handling food so cleanliness and quality is important)

Requirements:

  • Understands importance of food hygiene and safety and importance of food quality control
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to stand for long hours for 2 days a week.
  • Able to carry 5-15kg of items from time to time.
  • Be reliable.
  • Good communicator.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Takes initiative at tasks and checks out on things.
  • Always looking to improve.
  • Honest and responsible.
  • Able to handle frozen, raw meat and cooked food.
  • Extra points if you have prior experience working in a kitchen / food manufacturing facility.

Pay: $700.00 - $1,400.00 per month
