Job Description:

The APAC Customer Communications Specialist supports the APAC Customer and Social Communications Assistant Manager in the execution of regional customer communications across Asia Pacific. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining customer-facing communications and sales enablement materials, while supporting project timelines, review processes, and stakeholder coordination. The role helps ensure communications are accurate, timely, audience-appropriate, and aligned with UPS marketing priorities, business objectives, and brand standards.

Job Responsibilities

Customer Communications and Content Management

  • Develop and adapt customer-facing materials, including customer letters, service alerts, invoice messages, talking points, email templates, brochures, explainers, infographics, and sales enablement content.
  • Translate operational or technical information into clear, concise, and customer-focused communications.
  • Review communications requests, recommend appropriate content formats, and ensure materials support APAC marketing priorities, business objectives, and UPS brand standards.
  • Maintain customer communications and sales enablement materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, consistency, and compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain communications materials on designated digital platforms for internal and external audiences.

Project Coordination and Stakeholder Support

  • Coordinate communications requests, project timelines, review cycles, approvals, and follow-ups with regional, local market, functional, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Support time-sensitive communications by preparing materials efficiently and facilitating timely review and approval.
  • Coordinate APAC rate guide updates, including content review, localization, upload, and distribution.
  • Manage translation, localization, and distribution of communications materials across APAC markets as required.
  • Provide operational support, including budget tracking, financial document preparation, and coordination with Finance and Accounts stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing communications, content development, sales enablement, or a related function.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to develop clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and cultural awareness across APAC markets.
  • Effective project coordination skills, including timeline management, deliverable tracking, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders and preparing updates, presentations, or briefing materials for business audiences.
  • Familiarity with content marketing, creative development, production processes, and brand governance.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning.
