Job Summary
Fast Construction L.L.C. is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our project execution and site operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and compliance with UAE regulations including DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Trakhees.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute electrical works on site as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, load schedules, and material submittals.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, and Green Building requirements.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems including LV, ELV, lighting, and power distribution.
- Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, and daily work activities.
- Prepare technical reports, site inspection requests, and work progress documentation.
- Ensure safety standards and quality control procedures are strictly followed.
- Support procurement team with BOQ verification and material selection.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–7 years experience in construction or MEP projects (UAE experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations, electrical codes, and authority approval procedures.
- Experience in testing and commissioning, load calculations, and electrical design review.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and electrical design software.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
