Senior BIM Coordinators

Job Summary:

The Senior BIM Coordinators will be responsible for managing and coordinating multidisciplinary BIM activities on a major project in Diriyah, KSA, ensuring the successful production, integration, and delivery of BIM models across Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Infrastructure disciplines. The role will support BIM management functions, drive model coordination, clash detection, information management, and digital delivery workflows while ensuring compliance with project BIM requirements, ISO 19650 standards, and client expectations. This is a fully site-based role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Coordination Project Delivery

• Lead day-to-day BIM coordination activities across Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Infrastructure disciplines.
• Support project BIM Managers and digital delivery teams in implementing project BIM requirements and execution strategies.
• Coordinate model development activities and ensure timely delivery of BIM models and project information.
• Review multidisciplinary BIM deliverables to ensure alignment with project standards, client requirements, and project milestones.
• Monitor BIM workflows and support efficient collaboration between consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.

2. Model Coordination Information Management

• Manage federated models and support multidisciplinary coordination processes.
• Perform clash detection, model reviews, issue tracking, and coordination workshops using Navisworks and related BIM platforms.
• Coordinate the resolution of design and construction clashes with project stakeholders.
• Support BIM submissions, technical reviews, RFIs, and information exchanges throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain and administer Common Data Environments (CDE) including Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Aconex, or similar platforms.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 requirements, EIR/AIR documentation, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), MIDP/TIDP processes, and project-specific BIM standards.

3. BIM Quality Assurance Digital Delivery

• Conduct regular model audits and quality reviews to ensure compliance with BIM standards, naming conventions, classification systems, and project requirements.
• Review model health, data consistency, parameters, and information accuracy across project disciplines.
• Support BIM deliverables through LOD 300, LOD 400, As-Built, and LOD 500 stages.
• Assist construction teams with BIM-enabled workflows including shop drawings, digital coordination, site verification, and subcontractor model reviews.
• Support the implementation of advanced digital delivery initiatives including 4D sequencing, 5D cost integration, asset information management, and digital twin strategies.

4. Stakeholder Coordination Reporting

• Participate in coordination meetings with Clients, PMCs, Consultants, Main Contractors, and Subcontractors.
• Prepare BIM coordination reports, clash detection reports, model health reports, and project status updates.
• Facilitate communication between design teams, site teams, and project stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support compliance with client BIM protocols, governance requirements, and digital delivery standards.
• Escalate critical coordination issues and project risks to BIM leadership and project management teams when required.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• 7+ years of BIM experience, including significant experience as a BIM Coordinator or Senior BIM Coordinator on major construction projects.
• Strong experience delivering large-scale projects within the GCC region, particularly Saudi Arabia.
• Previous experience on PIF-funded projects is highly preferred.
• Direct experience on Diriyah projects will be considered a major advantage.
• Experience on Saudi giga-projects such as NEOM, Qiddiya, Red Sea, or similar large-scale developments is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650, EIR/AIR requirements, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), MIDP/TIDP processes, and information management workflows.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models and managing federated model environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, and related BIM technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in clash detection, model auditing, issue tracking, and technical coordination.
• Strong understanding of construction-stage BIM workflows, shop drawing production, and site coordination requirements.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Priority Candidate Profile

• Candidates with extensive Saudi Arabian project experience and a proven track record delivering major GCC projects.
• Previous involvement on PIF-funded developments and Diriyah projects is strongly preferred.
• Applicants with experience across giga-projects such as NEOM, Qiddiya, Red Sea, and similar strategic developments will receive priority consideration.
• Individuals with strong site-based BIM coordination experience and proven success driving multidisciplinary model coordination through construction stages will be highly regarded.
