Senior GIS Specialist

As a Senior GIS Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing GIS and geospatial data requirements for infrastructure and engineering projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and maintaining enterprise GIS databases and spatial datasets, ensuring compliance with project standards and data models. You will also integrate GIS datasets with various platforms, perform advanced spatial analysis, and support engineering and design teams with mapping solutions.

Project duration: 5 months

• Manage GIS and geospatial data requirements for infrastructure and engineering projects.

• Develop, maintain, and govern enterprise GIS databases and spatial datasets.

• Integrate GIS datasets with BIM, CAD, engineering, survey, and digital twin platforms.

• Perform advanced spatial analysis for transportation, utilities, and land development projects.

• Support engineering, design, and construction teams with spatial analysis and mapping solutions.

• Establish GIS governance procedures, quality assurance processes, and metadata standards.

• Review GIS deliverables and ensure compliance with project GIS standards and data models.

• Coordinate with engineers, planners, surveyors, and external stakeholders.

• Support digital engineering initiatives and information management strategies.

• Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, Surveying, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of GIS experience in infrastructure or engineering projects.

• Proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, FME, and Spatial Databases.

• Experience integrating GIS with BIM, CAD, Digital Twin Platforms, and Asset Management Systems.

• Knowledge of LiDAR, UAV, photogrammetry, and survey data processing.

• Understanding of infrastructure corridors, transportation networks, and land management systems.

• Ability to develop GIS standards, workflows, and governance frameworks.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience in multidisciplinary project delivery.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
