Your work
As a Mechanical Engineer, for one of our newest product introductions, you will be responsible for bringing this into production. The R&D phase has been completed, the concept has been proven, and your focus will be on translating engineering designs into efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes.
You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality to ensure products can be made reliably and efficiently. From improving manufacturability to solving production challenges, you will play a key role in delivering innovative equipment that meets IQIP's high quality standards.
Your responsibilities
- Translate validated engineering designs into production-ready products.
- Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, quality and reliability.
- Support prototype builds and first production runs.
- Resolve technical production issues together with Manufacturing.
- Create and maintain production documentation, work instructions and BOMs.
- Collaborate with suppliers on manufacturability and component improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production process. Support product changes and engineering modifications throughout the product lifecycle.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in mechanical design, manufacturing engineering or new product introduction.
- Knowledge of production processes, machining, welding and assembly techniques.
- Experience with CAD systems and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Hands-on mindset with a practical approach.
- Good communication skills in English.
