Network & Security Engineer – Cloud Migration

We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to play a key role in a high-impact migration project, transitioning our on-premise infrastructure to the cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure and security solutions, with a strong focus on firewall management and cloud connectivity.

What will you do?

• Lead the migration of networks and firewalls to a cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Configure and manage firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar).
• Optimize network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and VPNs.
• Automate network processes where possible (e.g., using Ansible or Terraform).
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure a secure and compliant cloud environment. Troubleshoot complex network and security-related issues.

Requirements

What do you bring?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO level) in IT or a related field.
• Certifications or proven experience with one or more of the following: Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, Infoblox, F5 GTM and LTM.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages: Ruby, Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Strong analytical and communication skills with a proactive approach.
